The NJMEA State Marching Band Festival is an annual event where New Jersey high school marching bands are evaluated in a ratings-only festival setting, rather than a competition. Bands receive separate ratings for their musical and visual performances and are awarded bronze, silver, or gold levels based on a set of criteria.
